Welcome, Welcome – A Children’s Book Created by Our Early Explorers

To celebrate 30 years of Scotswood Garden, our Scotswood Garden Early Explorers have created a beautiful children’s book: Welcome, Welcome.

Our Early Explorers group brings together pre-school and home-educated children and their grown-ups for creative, nature-based adventures rooted in the rhythm of the seasons. Whatever the weather, our sessions take place outdoors and are filled with joy, curiosity, and play.

Creating this book has been a journey of imagination and discovery. Throughout the project, children and adults alike have deepened their connection with nature, expanded their creativity, and strengthened early literacy skills. It has supported lifelong learning and contributed to improved wellbeing for everyone involved.

Welcome, Welcome is a celebration of children’s voices, the magic of outdoor learning, and the vibrant community at Scotswood Garden.
